Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma suffered a groin strain during Monday's win over the Atlanta Hawks, the team announced Tuesday.
The Wizards didn't give a recovery timeline for Kuzma's injury. However, he won't play in Wednesday's rematch against the Hawks.
Kuzma recorded a season-best 25 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists Monday. On the season, the 29-year-old is averaging 17 points, seven rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 30.7 minutes per contest.
Washington wings Corey Kispert and Kyshawn George will be in contention to take some of Kuzma's minutes.
Kuzma was the Wizards' leading scorer last campaign at 22.2 points per game.
