New Orleans Pelicans forward Herb Jones will miss two-to-four weeks with a right shoulder strain and a partial tear in his rotator cuff, the team announced Friday.

In addition, guard CJ McCollum is out two-to-three weeks with a right abductor strain.

McCollum is averaging 18.8 points, four assists, and 3.5 rebounds to begin the season. Jones is contributing 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and an assist.

The duo missed the team's loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. Second-year wing Jordan Hawkins subsequently saw extended playing time, recording 23 points in 39 minutes.

The Pelicans are already without wing Trey Murphy and guard Dejounte Murray. Murphy has yet to play this season after suffering a hamstring strain over four weeks ago. Murray is expected to approximately miss the first four-to-six weeks of the campaign after he fractured his hand in the team's season opener.

New Orleans ranks 12th in the Western Conference with a 2-3 record. The Pelicans next face the Indiana Pacers on Friday.
