Memphis Grizzlies big man Zach Edey came off the bench for Sunday's 116-110 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers after missing 12 games with an ankle issue.
Edey tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes.
The Canadian center had been out of the lineup since rolling his ankle Nov. 17 against the Denver Nuggets.
Edey was fourth in points per game (11.1) and second in rebounds per contest (6.9) among rookies entering play Sunday. He has been efficient offensively, shooting 61% from the field.
Head coach Taylor Jenkins inserted Brandon Clarke into the starting five shortly before Edey's ankle injury, bumping the two-time Naismith Player of the Year to the second unit. Clarke was averaging 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks as a starter ahead of Sunday's action.
The Grizzlies went 10-2 without Edey. Sunday's defeat ended their winning streak at four games. They host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
