Dwight Howard receives boos, 'Kobe' chants in the Philippines

Loyalty to the Lakers appears to extend all the way to the Philippines.

Although Dwight Howard has received a lot of love since the Rockets touched down in the Southeast Asian country, the center received some backlash during his team's game against the Pacers on Thursday.

Howard found himself on the receiving end of some boos from the crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena, and there were also some scattered chants of "Kobe! Kobe!" going on during the game.

The big man didn't help his cause by finishing with only nine points and three rebounds, on 3-of-9 shooting from the field. Pacers center Roy Hibbert also blocked Howard on three separate occasions.

But to be fair, Howard did have some highlights himself, including this huge block on Paul George in the opening seconds:
