Drake takes apparent shot at LeBron in new freestyle
LeBron James may have landed himself on Drake's bad side.
The rapper and Toronto Raptors global ambassador appeared to take aim at James in a new freestyle, "Fighting Irish," which addresses his recent feud with Kendrick Lamar. The track's title shares the same name as James' high school basketball team at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio.
"'Member we tradin' watches? I gave you that Arabic dial, you gave me a numbered edition," Drake raps in the freestyle. "You would even check up on my son like a pediatrician, sure convinced the gang this shit was rooted in love when it isn't, show me how different we are, there's blessings in juxtaposition, I guess now you boys gotta abandon your summer tradition."

Drake and James have been friends for years and co-produced the 2022 hockey documentary "Black Ice." However, the rapper unfollowed the Los Angeles Lakers star on Instagram after the latter attended Lamar's "The Pop Out: Ken & Friends" concert in Inglewood, California in July.
James was also filmed proclaiming his love for Lamar's Drake diss track, "Not Like Us," while representing Team USA ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

James isn't the only NBA player to fall out with Drake. In November, Drake said he would pull down DeMar DeRozan's banner if the Raptors ever retire his jersey. The comment came after the Sacramento Kings guard appeared in the "Not Like Us" music video.
