Kobe says Michael Jordan stole moves, too
A few weeks back, Michael Jordan joked that he might not be able to beat Kobe Bryant because Kobe stole all his moves.
It was a funny quip (and a nod to Bryant's skill, really), and Bryant responded by tweeting that now people steal his moves, too.
So when Jordan said he loves Kobe and was done with the one-on-one discussion, which was meant for fun but was being misconstrued, did Bryant let it go, too?
Naw. That ain't Vino.
Instead, Bryant spoke on the matter on Friday on Power 106 FM in Los Angeles:
"Well, you know, I'm a real student of the game. I know the history, so I know where Michael's moves came from. I know they came from David Thompson, I know they came from Dr. J, I know they came from, in particular, Jerry West. So, you know, Michael didn't invent the wheel. He stole a lot of moves, too, from a lot of great players that came before him. And I just so happened to steal some from him, and probably stole 'em better than anybody else has."
So, Kobe stole the moves that Michael stole and now people are stealing those moves. Got that?
