Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler believes he's still enjoying his best years at the age of 35.

"I still think I'm in my prime if I'm being brutally honest," Butler said, according to The Washington Post's Ben Golliver.

Butler's comment comes amid his worst statistical season as a member of the Heat. He's averaging 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists through 22 games.

The six-time All-Star is currently serving a seven-game suspension handed to him by the Heat due to "conduct detrimental to the team." Miami announced that it will be shopping him after he made it clear he wants to be traded.

Reports are linking Butler to the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, and Houston Rockets.

The Memphis Grizzlies were also mentioned, but it was reported Tuesday that they are one of multiple teams advised not to make an offer for the 14-year veteran.

Butler's $52.4-million player option for next season presents a risk to interested teams. He said he intends to decline the option and enter free agency.
