The Toronto Raptors are trading Davion Mitchell to the Miami Heat for P.J. Tucker, a second-round pick, and cash, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The second-rounder is the Los Angeles Lakers' 2026 pick, according to Sportsnet's Blake Murphy.

Toronto acquired Mitchell over the offseason from the Sacramento Kings. He averaged 6.3 points, 4.6 assists, and 1.9 rebounds in 44 games.

Mitchell's acquisition will likely be tied into the Heat's Jimmy Butler to Golden State Warriors trade, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

This is Tucker's third time with the Raptors. He was drafted by the team in 2006 and played 17 games in 2006-07. He then spent five seasons overseas and joined the Phoenix Suns in 2012. Toronto then reacquired Tucker at the trade deadline in 2016.

Tucker has been traded three times in the past five days. The Los Angeles Clippers moved him to the Utah Jazz in a deal for Drew Eubanks, who then flipped him to Miami in four-team trade that helped the Warriors land Butler.

The Heat drop below the first apron with the trade, according to Marks.
