Devin Ebanks is out of Los Angeles after signing a training camp deal with the Dallas Mavericks in September, but the former Lakers forward will serve a two-game suspension for his California baggage.
Ebanks, 23, pleaded no contest to DUI charges he faced for an arrest in Nov. 2012 in Hollywood. He'll serve the unpaid suspension when he's made the Mavericks roster, and is eligible and physically able to play, the NBA announced Monday.
The second-round pick averaged 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 19 games for the Lakers.
