Draymond Green wasn't bothered by Kevin Durant's reported disinterest in returning to the Golden State Warriors for a second stint at this year's trade deadline.

"Didn't affect my life one bit," Green told Sportskeeda's Mark Medina.

Asked to elaborate, he continued, "Why would it? I don't concern myself with guys who aren't here."

The Warriors were reportedly among the teams who inquired about Durant leading up to Thursday's trade deadline, but the Phoenix Suns star apparently didn't want a reunion with the team he won back-to-back titles with in 2017 and 2018.

Golden State instead turned its attention elsewhere, acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat as part of a five-team trade. Green is looking forward to playing alongside the six-time NBA All-Star.

"When you walk on the court and you look on the other end and you see guys that you respect, half the battle is fought," Green said. "And with Jimmy, that's half the battle. So that's going to be fun because we can compete at the highest level."

The Warriors enter Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls sitting in 11th place in the Western Conference at 25-26.
