Sacramento Kings interim head coach Doug Christie held a meeting with his starting five after the team's 132-108 home loss to the Golden State Warriors, sources told NBA insider Chris Haynes.

Christie talked to Malik Monk, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray, and Domantas Sabonis about the team's defensive effort, level of communication, and the players' ability to challenge each other, Haynes adds.

The Warriors led by as much as 29 points. Golden State shot 53.8% from the field and 46.5% from three, knocking down 20 shots as a team. The Kings committed 24 turnovers, leading to 38 Warriors points.

Christie called his team's performance "unacceptable," according to ABC10's Matt George.

"I get down in a certain way and I expect you guys to represent that," Christie said. "I know what these fans appreciate and they want, and what our organization wants, and that ain't it. It ain't ever going to be it."

Since taking over for Mike Brown, Christie has led the Kings to a 15-10 record. With the loss, Sacramento ranks 10th in the Western Conference with a 28-28 record.
