Stephen Curry will miss the start of the Golden State Warriors' upcoming six-game road trip with a pelvic contusion, the team announced Friday.

An MRI confirmed the guard avoided structural damage in Thursday's victory over the Toronto Raptors. Curry won't travel to Atlanta for Saturday's game against the Hawks and will be re-evaluated Monday.

Curry contributed 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting prior to exiting late in the third quarter.

The 11-time All-Star is averaging 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and six assists across 60 games this season.

The Warriors have gone 16-3 since acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat in early February. They sit sixth in the West at 41-29.

Golden State's road trip will also include games against the Heat, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, and Los Angeles Lakers.
