The New York Knicks are planning to sign veteran forward P.J. Tucker to a two-year contract, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Tucker's impending deal contains a team option for the 2025-26 season. The Knicks signed him to a pair of 10-day contracts earlier in March.

The 39-year-old has logged less than two minutes of playing time this season. He recorded no points, rebounds, assists, or any other statistical figures in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs earlier this month.

Tucker holds career averages of 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.3 steals over 14 NBA seasons.

The Knicks are third in the Eastern Conference with a 47-27 record. They face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday.
