Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis remains levelheaded as he prepares for Wednesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.

"No emotions," Davis said when asked about playing against his former team for the first time since being dealt to the Mavs as part of the blockbuster Luka Doncic trade, according to Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News.

The Mavs and Lakers faced each other Feb. 25 at Crypto.com Arena, but Davis was sidelined with an adductor strain suffered in his Dallas debut. He was honored with a tribute video from the Lakers during the game.

In seven games with the Mavs, Davis has averaged 20.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

The Mavs enter Wednesday's game sitting 10th in the Western Conference at 38-41, while the Lakers are third at 48-30.
