Shaq agrees to walk Howard out at Hall of Fame induction
The longstanding feud between Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard might finally be over for good.
After news broke last week that he was elected as a member of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's 2025 induction class, Howard proposed the idea of having O'Neal, Kevin Garnett, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar present him at the ceremony.
"I want KG , Shaq, and Kareem to walk me out," Howard tweeted.
O'Neal responded to the tweet on Thursday's episode of "The Big Podcast with Shaq," and it sounds like it Howard will get his wish.
"That's awesome," O'Neal said, adding, "I'll do it. I'll be there. Of course. That's my guy."
O'Neal has taken a number of jabs at Howard over the years, but claimed in January that he was done bringing up his name.
Howard will be joined in the Hall of Fame's class of 2025 by Carmelo Anthony, Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Sylvia Fowles, the 2008 U.S. Olympic men's team, Billy Donovan, Micky Arison, and Danny Crawford.
