Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic had the top-selling jersey across the NBA this season, the league announced Monday.

Doncic is the first international player to ever top the jersey sales list and the first player other than Stephen Curry or LeBron James to be No. 1 since 2012-13 when the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony held the spot.

Luka Doncic Los Angeles Lakers
Stephen Curry Golden State Warriors
LeBron James Los Angeles Lakers
Jayson Tatum Boston Celtics
Jalen Brunson New York Knicks

Jersey sales are up 21% since the Feb. 6 trade deadline compared to the same period last year. The NBA said this was primarily driven by Doncic's trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Lakers.

The Lakers also sold the most merchandise in the league, overtaking the Boston Celtics, who led at the halfway point of the season.

Doncic and the Lakers finished third in the West and will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.
