Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is available for Friday's play-in tournament clash against the Dallas Mavericks despite a right ankle sprain.

Morant received injections on his ankle Thursday and Friday to help manage the pain, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania and Tim MacMahon.

The two-time All-Star suffered the injury in Tuesday's play-in loss to the Golden State Warriors. He managed to play through the ailment, posting 22 points in 35 minutes.

The injury would sideline Morant in the regular season, as he continues to experience significant soreness and swelling, Charania and MacMahon report.

Morant was the Grizzlies' leading scorer this season, averaging 23.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.3 assists across 50 games.

The winner of Friday's tilt will go on to the playoffs as the 8-seed and face the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round.
