Draymond calls out Brooks: 'Nobody on the court respects you'
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green isn't hiding his disdain for Houston Rockets wing Dillon Brooks.
On the latest episode of "The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis," Green called out Brooks for not shaking hands with Warriors players after Golden State's Game 7 victory Sunday night over Houston.
"When guys lose respect for you in this league, it don't matter, and it's gonna catch you in the end," Green said. "Dillon Brooks couldn't come through in this series, in large part because nobody on the court respects you.
"Anything you do - the way it's gonna be looked at, the way it's gonna be received, it ain't beneficial to your team when you trying to win championships. When you trying to compete at the highest level, and you that type of guy? It ain't beneficial to your team and it catch you in the end."
Green added that he "gained a lot of respect for a lot of guys" on the Rockets during their first-round playoff series, particularly Tari Eason.
"Tari Eason, I still got love and respect for," Green said. "He a young fella, but I'mma tell a young fella, 'Don't be like that and don't follow clowns, man. Be careful.'"
The Warriors begin their Western Conference semifinal series against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.
