Curry remains out for Game 5 vs. T-Wolves
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was ruled out for Wednesday's do-or-die Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals due to his ongoing hamstring strain.
Curry suffered the injury during the second quarter of the series opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was originally ruled out for a week, which sidelined him through Game 4.
The Timberwolves won the next three games, including a pair in Golden State.
The Warriors have struggled offensively, scoring more than 100 points just once in the series. Jimmy Butler is leading the team with 21 points per game but is shooting 44.1% from the field.
Jonathan Kuminga has also entered the rotation consistently after missing Games 4-6 of the first round against the Houston Rockets. The 22-year-old is averaging 19.5 points and three rebounds on 57.4% field-goal shooting.
Curry has been durable the past two seasons, playing 144 out of 164 regular-season contests.
The 37-year-old is averaging 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in the playoffs.
