Former NBA player Maurice Ager on Grammy nomination ballot
Ever wondered what Maurice Ager has been up to since last playing in the NBA in 2010-11? All the time? Me too.
Well, it turns out Ager has been working on a music career, and he's been having some success.
The former Michigan State and NBA guard likes the sound of that, but never imagined it possible until this week. The Grammy board announced that his single “Far From Home” is officially on the ballot for nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
The song is a collaboration between Ager, LP and J. Peso and can be listened to by going to Ager's website and scanning to Track 14. He'll find out on Dec. 6 is his track is one of the five final nominees.
Ager played four seasons in the NBA after a successful career at Michigan State. In 82 career games, Ager averaged 2.1 points.
