Knicks cut Leslie and Aldrich, two spots left for three players
Why can't the New York Knicks just make their cuts in one fell swoop? Instead, they've leaked sets of cuts two hours apart.
This time, it's C.J. Leslie and Cole Aldrich getting the axe.
Hearing C.J. Leslie got cut and Cole Aldrich made the team. So it's likely between Murry, Smith and Tyler for two spots. #Knicks

Based on that tweet, it seems like Chris Douglas-Roberts is relatively assured of a spot, leaving Toure' Murry, Chris Smith and Jeremy Tyler competing for two roster positions.
Leslie, by the way, averaged 2.4 points in five preseason games. Aldrich only averaged 0.8 but added 4.2 rebounds in just 11.4 minutes.
