Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Kessler missed Utah's two most recent contests but produced strong numbers in his five appearances this season. The 24-year-old averaged 14.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists before being sidelined.

Kessler was in the midst of his fourth NBA season after being selected 22nd overall in the 2022 draft. He's eligible to become a restricted free agent this summer.

The Jazz entered Wednesday with a 3-4 record after finishing the 2024-25 campaign with a league-worst 17 wins.
