Tinsley played in eight games for the Jazz this season, averaging 1.1 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 13.8 minutes.
John Lucas III should receive the bulk of the minutes at the point with the departure of Tinsley but with rookie Trey Burke now cleared to begin solo basketball drills it looks like the Jazz will have him back soon.
It's also possible the Jazz will add a player from the D-League:
First name I'm hearing in connection with Utah's roster opening: Diante Garrett out of the D-League who played with Phoenix last season
