This season has left a number of Houston Rockets fans divided on the issue of whether their team benefits more from James Harden, a player who is often criticized for being selfish but who has the ability to close out games, or Jeremy Lin, a player who runs the team's offense incredibly well but looks lackluster on defense.
They're two very different types of players, but here's a stat that will surely put a smile on the faces of those supporting Lin.
In the 5 games he has played for the #Rockets w/o James Harden, Jeremy Lin is averaging 24.0 points on 47.4% FG (17-29 3P) and 8.0 assists.

With Harden out of the lineup in the Rockets' 123-117 overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, Lin dropped 34 points to go with 12 points and five assists. However, he committed eight turnovers and struggled to contain James Anderson, who scored 36 points including the game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.
Debate on, my friends.
