Unhappy with his situation in Houston, Rockets C Omer Asik requested a trade, but it appears the team has denied him again.
According to ESPN.com, the team has told Asik that they have no plans on dealing him.
Asik let it be known that he wanted out of Houston once the club brought in Dwight Howard. The Rockets did not trade him then and apparently they feel no urgency to move him now.
Asik is still owed $20 million over the next two seasons.
