Wembanyama starts Game 4 after clearing concussion protocol
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama has cleared concussion protocol and was in the starting lineup for Sunday's Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers, the team announced.
Wembanyama missed Game 3 of the series after hitting his face on the floor during a fall in the previous contest.
Wembanyama passed his neurological tests going through stages of protocol after sustaining a concussion Tuesday night -- cardio work after 24 hours, increasing his activities Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and receiving the Spurs' medical sign-off and league clearance on Sunday. https://t.co/26HNK61kEA
