Wizards' Harrington will miss four weeks after knee surgery
Any hopes of seeing Al Harrington on the court in 2013 are over.
#wizards announced that Bradley Beal has been cleared to increase basketball activities & Al Harrington will miss 4 weeks after knee surgery
— Michael Lee (@MrMichaelLee) December 10, 2013
The news comes as a major blow to the Washington Wizards, who have struggled to remain healthy despite recently climbing to the .500 mark for the first time this season.
Harrington played only 10 games last year as a result of a staph infection in his right knee.
In the seven games Harrington has played this season, he's averaged 7.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assist over 18.6 minutes.
