More nickname jerseys revealed, sadly no 'AK-47' for Kirilenko
More photos have surfaced of the nickname jerseys the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat will wear on Jan. 10.
Some of the nicknames (Truth, J. Shuttlesworth, King James and the super-original D-Will) we knew, others were less well-known (Cole Train), and one is pretty cool but also a bit of a disappointment (Кириленко).
We say that about the Kirilenko nickname because AK-47 is one of the best basketball player nicknames ever. Yeah, we get it, guns are bad, but his initial are A.K., he wears No. 47, and he was born in Izhevsk, where the firearm is manufactured. It's too good.
Anyway, here are some photos.
