7-time All-Star Joe Johnson to return from knee injury Thursday

The Brooklyn Nets will have Joe Johnson in the lineup on Thursday night when they take on the shorthanded San Antonio Spurs.

Johnson missed the team's 108-102 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night due to tendinitis in his right knee. The Armadillo Cowboy will move right back into the starting lineup, where All-Stars belong.

In 44 games this season, Johnson is averaging 15.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 33.7 minutes. He's shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 38.9 percent from beyond the three-point stripe.
