The Indiana Pacers will be heading to New York without center Andrew Bynum, as the big man will remain in Indianapolis to treat the swelling in his knees.
Bynum had one of the knee drained on Monday afternoon, and he told the Pacers official site that the amount of fluid coming out is slightly worrisome.
“This one is a little concerning for me because it caused a lot more fluid,” he said. “I haven’t had that much fluid in there since like the (2010) Boston Finals in L.A.”
Doctors reportedly examined the results on Tuesday morning, and an update is expected soon.
The Pacers, meanwhile, head to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks on Wednesday before returning home to host the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
