LeBron's 43 points carry Heat to win over Cavaliers

Steve Mitchell / USA TODAY Sports

LeBron James started the game off with a bang, scoring 25 first quarter points against his former team, as the Miami Heat held off the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 100-96 win.

James did everything the Heat could possibly need, finishing with 43 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a pair of steals. LeBron carried the weight and filled the absence of Dwyane Wade, who sat with soreness.

The 25-point first quarter saw James match the Cavaliers entire output in the frame, giving the Heat a 12-point lead after one.

It was the Cavaliers' 10th straight loss to the Heat, a number that is not lost on team owner Dan Gilbert.

So angry he can't even finish his statement. Sort of makes you wish twitter could be written in comic sans font.
