According to a report from the Utah Jazz's official website, the Jazz have successfully claimed former Bulls PF Erik Murphy off waivers. In order to make room for Murphy, the team waived center Andris Biedrins, who had only appeared in 6 games for the Jazz this season.
Murphy projects to be a big with some decent range on his jump shot. Meanwhile, the opposite cannot be said for Biedrins, who has been largely ineffective for the better part of two seasons.
