Celtics PG Rajon Rondo out vs. Bobcats due to bruised shin

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is a late scratch for Friday's game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Rondo played 41 minutes on Wednesday, scoring 19 points and adding 12 assists. He recorded a triple-double (11 points, 16 assists, 11 rebounds) last Friday against the Philadelphia 76ers before sitting out the second half of a back-to-back on Saturday.
Injuries have limited the 28-year-old Rondo to 29 games on the season.
