Analysis:
Thompson pretty much had the worst overall numbers in his six-year career, all with the Kings, topped by the lowest points per game, 7.1, in his career. He also had the lowest assists per game 0.6, in his career and his rebounds, 6.4, were next to the lowest in his career (6.1 during the 2010-11 season). Thompson could battle for playing time next season with Carl Landry, Derrick Williams and Reggie Evans. But with Thompson one of the remaining pieces from the previous Kings' administration, there is a good chance he will find another address in 2014-15.
