Chalmers (shin) did not practice Tuesday and is considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's Game 2 versus Charlotte, the Heat's official Twitter account reports.
Analysis:
Chalmers suffered a right shin contusion early in Sunday's playoff opener. Not considered serious, Chalmers played through the ailment, recording seven points and two assists in 25 minutes against the Bobcats. By not participating in Tuesday's practice, Chalmers should be rested for Game 2. Although he's listed as day-to-day, it's a near certainty Chalmers will play and keep his starting point guard position.
