Mike Conley: (Hamstring) Limping In Locker Room
Conley (hamstring) was visibly limping in the locker room after Thursday's Game 6 loss to the Thunder, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Analysis:
Conley missed a stretch of about four-and-a-half minutes at the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth. He then returned for about one minute, before exiting for good with 7:52 remaining and the Grizzlies down 18. The Griz were obviously a long shot to win, but it wasn't quite at the point where a healthy Conley would typically sit. Given that reality, and accounting for his post-game limp, the 26-year-old point guard may be in real danger of either missing Game 7 or playing at far less than 100 percent. With Nick Calathes suspended, Beno Udrih would be the clear beneficiary (minutes-wise) of a potential Conley absence. Of course, given that we're talking about a Game 7, Conley will do everything in his power to play, even if this is an injury that would normally require a multi-game absence.
