INFOGRAPHIC: Spurs 'Big 3' combine for ridiculous first half output
The Spurs trio of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker has haunted opposing teams in the NBA for much of the past decade.
San Antonio's fearsome trio, along with head coach Gregg Popovich have formed the backbone of the Spurs, and the combination of the four have captured 4 NBA titles.
The beauty of their formation is their ability to play as a team. Each player has aged at a different rate, which has given rise to changing hierarchies among the three.
In the late 90's and early 2000's, Tim Duncan was the focal point, and his guards flanked him on the perimeter. Later in the decade, Ginobili took on a larger role, and bore a greater share of the scoring burden. Finally, over the past few years, Tony Parker - the youngest of the three - has firmly seized control of the team, and Popovich has adapted his team's style of play to suit its play-making point guard.
However, on occasion, all three players manage to impose their wills onto the game. The end result is shown below.
