Wizards HC Wittman on halftime plans: 'We're just going to stay on the floor'

Looking for an answer to his team's third quarter woes so far in their series against the Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards head coach Randy Wittman is ready to try a strange halftime strategy.
Randy Wittman on halftime plans: "We’re not going back in. I hope they don’t have a halftime show. We’re just going to stay on the floor."

Well, refusing to go to the locker room is one way to deal with slumps out of halftime, we suppose. Whatever he ends up doing, it's clear the Wizards need to change something in the third frame to stave off elimination in Game 5 on Tuesday.
Series by Quarter | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Pacers | 82 | 76 | 103 | 101 |
Wizards | 94 | 95 | 61 | 89 |
We'd recommend strategical adjustments rather than routine adjustments, but that's just us.
Unfortunately, the Wizards actually did head to the locker room:
