Before Ray Allen hit a clutch three-pointer to put the Miami Heat up 93-91 with 32 seconds remaining in Game 5 of their series against the Brooklyn Nets, he had missed all six of his attempts from beyond the arc.
So why did Mario Chalmers decide against taking a shot himself and feed the ball to Allen?

Of course, the first of those 16 attempts that probably comes to mind is Allen's cold-blooded three-pointer in Game 6 of last year's NBA Finals. The shot essentially saved the series for the Heat.
For the record, Allen has a career three-point percentage of 40 percent.
