Nerlens Noel confirms he will play for 76ers' Summer League team, which could be best ever

Philadelphia 76ers fans will be tuning in to Orlando Summer League action this summer like never before.

The event, which is held from July 5-11 ahead of the slightly bigger event, the Las Vegas Summer League from July 11-21, will feature a 76ers team that could be among the most star-studded the tournament has ever seen.

Not only do the Sixers have the Nos. 3, 10, 32, 39, 47, 52 and 54 picks in the June 26 NBA draft, some of which will surely be used on players who will be present, but they'll also have 2012 No. 6 overall pick Nerlens Noel in uniform for the tourney.

Noel missed the entire 2013-14 season due to an ACL tear suffered late in his college career, well ahead of the draft, but his knee is now 100 percent healed and he confirmed on Thursday that he'll play in Orlando.

There is going to be an embarrassment of prospect riches on the squad that Philly sends on July 5.
