Dwyane Wade: Don't put LeBron James' future solely on me

Dwyane Wade knows his performance could impact LeBron James' future with the Miami Heat, but he doesn't want the blame if his teammate decides to go elsewhere.

"Just don't solely put it on me," Wade told reporters Tuesday, via USA TODAY Sports. "That's what I'm saying. Don't put the X on me. ... There's a lot that goes into, so just don't say, 'If Dwyane Wade doesn't have the year that we're accustomed to, it's over.'"

Wade, James, and Chris Bosh all have the option to opt out of their contracts after this season. So far, only Bosh has voiced his intentions to return to Miami.
