Report: Tyronn Lue left 'strong impression' on Cavs officials
The Cleveland Cavaliers may be moving closer to naming their next head coach, if the buzz coming from the earliest rounds of interviews can be believed.
While myriad names of varying experience have been linked to the job, it's a familiar name, though one with no head coaching experience, looking like the early favorite: Tyronn Lue.
After retiring as an active player in 2009, Lue transitioned immediately to a bench role, first as an assistant under Doc Rivers in Boston and then again under Rivers with the Los Angeles Clippers. At age 37, he's one of the younger coaching candidates out there but one who seems to have the respect of basketball insiders.
The only potential impediment to Lue's success as a coach appears to be that no matter how good a coach he is, players can still always remind him of this:
