Cramp-free LeBron James drops 35 points in Game 2 of NBA Finals
It turns out that the damaging effects of painful muscle cramps didn't carry over to Sunday after two days of rest for LeBron James, as he effectively quieted anyone criticizing him for missing the end of Game 1 with a huge performance in Game 2.
James scored 35 points on 14-of-22 shooting with 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals, helping the Heat outscore the Spurs by 11 points in his 38 minutes. In the 10 minutes he sat? The Heat were outscored by nine.

In case you're not a math major, that means he also led the Heat to victory, a 98-96 win that evens the series at one game apiece.
A game like this may not stop the haters from hanging on to Game 1 - only winning the series, if that, can accomplish that seemingly impossible feat - but it should settle any remaining doubt that James won't be effective as the series moves forward.
