Report: Grizzlies interim GM Chris Wallace to remain in role for 'foreseeable future'
The search for the Memphis Grizzlies' next general manager appears to have been downgraded to a search for an assistant general manager instead.
The Griz position, to be clear, is more of an assistant GM role/possible GM in waiting. Chris Wallace continues as GM for foreseeable future

Wallace was branded with the interim label following the departure of CEO Jason Levien and assistant general manager Stu Lash from the organization, and will lose that "interim" label, with the team instead looking to hire a "GM-in-waiting" who will train under Wallace, according to ESPN.com.
Memphis was reportedly interested in bringing Oklahoma City Thunder assistant GM Michael Winger in for an interview but he declined.
As @sam_amick reported, Grizz interested in OKC Asst GM Michael Winger. But he's happy w/Thunder & turned down interview, sources tell ESPN
