During a second straight season as Eastern Conference bridesmaids, dissension among the ranks was a talking point the Indiana Pacers failed to mute.
At the heart of the team's inner turmoil was center Roy Hibbert, who became the subject of trade whispers due to inconsistencies on the court and issues in the locker room.
That chatter has reportedly spilled into the NBA's free-agent period, but the volume remains unchanged, according to a source of the Sporting News' Sean Deveney.
"I would say they've been [shopping Hibbert]," a Pacers' front-office source said. "But quietly."
Hibbert still has two years and $30 million of max money on his current deal, which would be a significant dice roll for any team looking to add length to their paint.
