Report: Hornets acquire Scotty Hopson as part of Dwight Powell deal with Cavs

The Charlotte Hornets have restructured their draft-day deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Scotty Hopson has replaced Alonzo Gee in #Cavs trade w/Hornets for Dwight Powell and Brendan Haywood, per league source. Deal official tmrw

In a separate move, the Cavs are reportedly nearing a deal that would see Gee sent to the New Orleans Pelicans to create extra cap space for LeBron James.
Hopson appeared in two games for Cleveland last season for a total of seven minutes.
