Report: Nick Calathes to remain with Grizzlies next season
Following a season where he was suspended 20 games for violating the NBA's Anti-Drug Policy, Nick Calathes will reportedly be returning to the Memphis Grizzlies for another year.
Nick Calathes stays with Grizzlies for $800K this season, losing out on $6M deal in Greece. He serves rest of NBA suspension to start year.

The Grizzlies, who apparently tried to acquire an upgrade on Calathes at the one but were unable to do so, had a Tuesday deadline to make a decision regarding the 25-year-old's future. Reports indicate that the Calathes was in favor of returning to play in Greece, where he'd receive significantly more money.
Calathes' 20-game ban reportedly stemmed from the use of Tamoxifen, an over-the counter - yet banned - substance that treats baldness. He'll be forced to miss the first 13 games of the upcoming season.
2013-14 wasn't all bad for the point guard, however, as he was named the NBA's Rookie of the Month in February, when he averaged 10.7 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game.
