Los Angeles Lakers veteran Kobe Bryant was one of the many faces to make an appearance at Safeco Field in Seattle on Sunday, as Seahawks' Richard Sherman hosted his celebrity softball game.
Bryant showed off his lefty-batting home run swing in front of 22,000 fans, and said it was his first time back in the city since the departure of the SuperSonics for Oklahoma City in 2008.
“I’ve always enjoyed coming here. I’d much rather come here in the postseason than Oklahoma,” Bryant said, via the Associated Press.
(Did Kobe forget about the end result of the 2013-14 season, or...)
But his takeover of Seattle didn't end at the ballpark. Bryant also showed up at the Seattle Pro-Am to SuperSonic-levels of applause.
