Nick Young officially re-signs with Lakers

It's official. The Los Angeles Lakers will be just as swaggy come the 2014-15 season.

Young's new contract is reportedly a four-year, $21.5-million deal, a significant increase from the $1.2 million he would have received had he picked up his player option for the upcoming season.
While his theatrics and charisma have earned him something of a cult following around the NBA, Young actually posted impressive numbers in 2013-14. He averaged 17.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, while posting a true shooting percentage of 56.4 percent and an above-average player efficiency rating of 16.0.
Whether or not Young is able to replicate those stats next season will largely depend on Kobe Bryant's health.
