VIDEO: Kobe Bryant plays 1-on-1 in Shanghai

Kobe Bryant is in Shanghai this week as part of his Kobe Team Nike RISE campaign, and on Thursday he took the floor for some one-on-one action against a handful of players.

It's impossible to draw any conclusions from such short stints, but the fact that Bryant is playing basketball without issue should be encouraging to Los Angeles Lakers fans.

According to a Kobe Team release, this is Bryant's ninth visit to China to help spread the game (and his brand) globally. LeBron James took part in earlier installations of the Nike RISE campaign, which aims to have NBA talent "guide, train and mentor" aspiring basketball players, who are also competing against each other in the "first social basketball reality show in Greater China."
